What are the correct temp settings for a refrigerator and it's freezer?

Question:

Answers:
I believe the standard is 37 deg. F & 0 deg. F That's what mine is set at.

Generally, about 5 deg c for the rerigerator, and about -5 for the freezer.
The FDA recommends food be stored below 39 degrees. I use 37 degrees for the refigerator portion. There will be colder areas depending on how full the frig is, and the circulation of air.
If you are storing ice cream in the freezer -10 is the best temp to maintain a hard freeze. It is OK to store other foods at 0 degrees F
Just to be sure I bought a food thermometer that I put in the fridge and one in the freezer. It has zones marked on it for freezer or fridge so I'm always sure it's in the right temp. zone. Otherwise you have no idea what the temp. is or if the fridge is working properly. It's worth the couple of bucks to have one. Hope this helps.
