A bout keeping swimming pools clear?

Question:Does anyone have a good way to keep pools clear and bug free? We set up an above ground pool and let it fill overnight. This morning it was full of some kind of swimmi ng bugs. We had put the solar cover on and have no idea how to get them out.

Answers:
1 thing you need to buy is a ph kit you can find them were you got your pool or walmart pool section while your there pick up a few bags of shock for viynl pools spred it out over the pool and make sure youkeep your poolsides and bottom clean if you see discoloring on your pool sides get in and scrub it down. if you get to the point were your water get cloudy even if you shock it and use chlorine take a samole to your local pool supplier and they can test your water and tell you what you need to clear it up. as for the bugs try this
the first step is clorination of course, shock the pool several times, scrub the alge off of the sides and bottoms of pool, scrub all alge after shocking. everytime you shock? SCRUB.this will take away there food sorces and they lay eggs in alge.

Depending on where you live, it's very difficult. If you're in South or Central Florida there's no way to avoid them even if you install the mesh screens. Keep it covered overnight and cut back any trees or shrubbery that are close to the pool. You could also have the exterminator spray the landscape around the pool. Still be prepared to clean it often.
Throw in some super shock and they will disappear.
