Refrigerator has knocking sounds??

Thank You.

Answers:
Could be the ice maker... or it could be the motor throwing a fit. Refigerator problems are quite frequently caused by neglect. You need to pull the fridge out once a year or so and clean the dust off the coils. If you let it build up, eventually it will have to work too hard to transfer heat.

Or it could be a gnome wanting to be let out. Open the door and check just in case.

It is your ice maker droping the ice.
Probably just your ice maker.
Mine does that too. Its gonna keep blowin up in 2-3 days, take cover.
If no ice maker, could be ice build-up in a frost-free. I had one that did that, and had to replace it. There's a fan in the back that melts the ice and that's the hot air that blows out from under the refrigerator. In mine, the fan lost power or something, ice built up, and the knocking noise was the fan hitting that chunk of ice.
