Why has'nt someone invented a washer and dryer combo? The only ones out have to be hooked up to sink?

Question:

Answers:
Check out creative laundry (link below). They are on the expensive side, but they can be installed using similar hookup as a dishwasher, so they are not portable. Nice thing is they do not require outside venting which would allow heating and air conditioning to escape from the house.

They do have washer/dryer combos but they will always have to be hooked up to a sink.. how else is the water going to get in to wash your clothes??
They do make them , and they are expensive. Try checking the internet. Under washer /dryer combos.
They do make a combo like you are asking about. They are from Italy. I forget the name. They are used in European countries since they have limited amounts of space.
This type combo are put in Recreational Vehicles (the big ones you drive). They are hooked up the same way a regular 2 piece set is - water hookups and dryer vent. Once you start the machine you can't open it until it completes both washing and drying cycles.
Call some of your areas large RV dealers if you are interested in one. They can order one for you. They cost about $1000.
