15x48 intex metal frame pool?
Question:Can you leave this kind of pool up year round. Can it take cold winters?

yes you can but you need to drain it down below level of intake for filter system i do mine usually about half to two thirds full (ontario canada)
I have seen alot of Neighbors whom have this type of Pool leave theirs up year round, but they always drain it to about a Foot of water, to support the sides from caving in and then Cover it with a Pool Cover.
I would call or visit your nearest pool dealer/supplier and get their professional advise. Better to be safe than sorry ! :)))
YES, YOU CAN. SOME OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE ONE, WITH THE METAL SIDES, WHICH ARE STRONG AND CAN WITHHOLD THE COLD WINTERS. THEY HAVE HAD THEIR INTEX POOL UP FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW, FILTERING IT, AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF, HAVE A POOL COVER, AND THEIRS HAS BEEN FINE. IF YOU DONT TRUST MY JUDGEMENT, YOU SHOULD GO TO A POOL PLACE, AND ASK THEM, OR READ ON THE BOX THAT YOUR POOL CAME IN.
