What can I expect to pay for water / electric in a flat?

Question:I am moving out of my parents and need to know what to expect to pay for water / electric. This is the only thing that I am unsure of what the cost will be.

Newly built 2 bedroom flat - average size.
2 people living there both working full time.
Will have quite a lot of electrical equipment (big screen tv, music system, computer, xbox etc) but obviously it will not all be on at once.
Rarely bath but both shower atleast once per day and drink lots of water.
I think the kitchen and heating is all electric (it is a new build).

Answers:
Your costs would be diffcult to clculate exactly, but around £30 a month for each would be a good place to start. Remember there is loads of competition for your business so check out someone like uSwitch.com for the best deals around

As the other guy said, it will be difficult to work out any exact costings. I live in 2 bedroom flat, and im paying between £200-300 a year for my gas and electricity if that gives you any idea...

Once you move in though its worth checking on http://www.moneysupermarket.com/utilitie... to make sure your with the cheapest supplier an that your not getting ripped off.
