How do you harvest calendula seeds?

Question:can you pick the seeds after the flowers die and dry them yourself inside or do you have to let them dry on the flower outside?

Answers:
For viable seeds you will need to let the flowers dry on the plant...the seeds are not fully formed when the flower dies.

When the seeds are dried store them in a brown paper bag...never use plastic to store seeds as they will mildew.

I would pick them as they just start to die and store them.
