Cork or bamboo floors?

Question:Which do you prefer?

Answers:
I know that bamboo is a highly renewable resource. As for cork, a woman at work told me that it is a tree that thaey strip a layer off of every 9 years.

I've never had cork floors, but we do have quite a bit of bamboo flooring. I love the look of it, ours is a light, sort of "blonde" color. I really like the idea of bamboo being used for flooring, as it is such a renewable resource. We were told that it would be about as hard as many of the oak floors. Maybe it is, but I'm a little bit disappointed that our dog has been able to scratch it! I guess oak floors get scratched also, but I don't know, since I've never had them.
i prefer bamboo floor. I like the color and also the pattern is pretty.
