Home improvements under $500?
Question:Anyone have advice on a few home improvements that will improve curb appeal, but cost less than $500 each?

If you have any room painted an "eclectic" color, paint it white or tan. Plant flowers around the front of the house. Paint the front door a striking color. If you have a deck or wood fence then power wash it clean. Take a good hard look at all the stuff you have and REMOVE all the extra stuff from the house and get rid of it. New faucets in the bathrooms and kitchens are nice for inside but if you are strictly talking about outside then a new mailbox, paint your trim and gutters
A few plants and fresh paint do wonders. $500 is lots for curb apeal, at least for me, I'm cheap. Take a ride and look at other houses , many ideas.

a little landcaping nice flowering plants some hanging baskets and paint is always good, front door. trim etc
clean, get rid of clutter, replace outdated/ugly fixtures with something more modern. Paint can do wonders and it's relatively cheap.
Patio bricks (you can get them on Freecycle sometimes), flowers or greenery (cheap at Walmart).
