Why is it...?
Question:I am a floor refinisher and I wanna know why it's so difficult to find someone to work nowadays. Either they are into drugs or just don't wanna work. Any other self-employed persons out there who have the same problem?

Here in Alberta, Canada we have the same problem. So many jobs. Great for the employee but not the employer.

That's a huge problem all over the country. People don't want to actually work. I think part of it is they have been told that manual labor is beneath them.
This is the gimme generation buddy. All the people now adays don't want to work because their parents are either split up or they both had to work all the time so no one was ever home with them to teach them anything. Plus all the democrats want the country to be a welfare state so they keep people on welfare and food stamps and give them free health care to just sit at home on the porch all day and run around on the street all night. Everyone has this problem not just you. I have always wanted to learn how to refinish floors, in fact I did one for a friend of mine, It didn't turn out bad, so if your hiring and live near Pittsburgh I'll take the job. Only thing is I make Sixty Thousand a year now. Can you pay me that to work for you. Solution: pay more to get someone who is willing to work hard or quit your business, tell the government you are disabled go on SSI, get Medicare and you can join everyone else who is living off of the government. WHAT HAS THIS COUNTRY COME TO.
