Where's a good place to look for a sofa that comes apart?
Question:Does anyone have any ideas where I can get a sofa (preferably a corner unit) that comes completely apart or that can be delivered in bits? My flat has limited access and we can't get normal size sofas up the stairs even if they come in 2 parts. I've tried DFS etc but no luck?? Really starting to think there's no sofa out there that will fit up the stairs!

Nabru.co.uk sell modular sofas that come in bits and you make them up - according to their website they are guaranteed to fit - they also do corner sofas.
ikea do loads, we have the same problem adn we managed to get a huge sofa in as it came in 4 bits

I bought mine from their and it gets delivered in bits and its really easy to put together - I managed it all by myself!!

Two places:
Mail order (like costco) cause they hve to mail it
and BOBS or cheap places. Youd be shocked how many come appart or are shipped in peices, ask your sales people
Why don't you move to a better flat or apartment? If it's that hard to get a sofa up there; it must be a risky place to live. Like if a fire broke out? You need an easy access to and from your living quarters in case of a fire. OR any emergency.
