How to stain Concrete wall?
Question:Few days ago someone advised me to stain the exterior of my concrete wall as opposed to paint. Be he didn't mentioned how.
What materials are needed and how to do it?
Answers:
There really isn't too much difference between paint and stain. However, make sure you get stain specifically manufactured for concrete. They are a host of different colors. The advantage to using stain is that it soaks into the concrete as opposed to paint "covering" the concrete. Paint will eventually begin to fade or peel or get a dingy look. The stain, since it penetrates, won't peel, but may fade eventually. Stain can be applied with a rag or a brush; just follows manufacturers directions. I would use a rag - it would be quicker, show no brush strokes and can be applied more liberally.
Finally, it's easier to toss a rag in the trash than it is to toss a paint brush.

You can buy concrete stain any color you want at any hardware store. It is thinner than paint. You can roll it , brush it on or spray it on. It is very easy to do.
