Insect question?
Question:I would like to take photos of them, what time of the day should I search for them? Early morning.afternoon? thank you!
Answers:
I'm not an entomoligist, but I image the insect kingdom is among the largest, so it would depend upon a host of factors to determine when to take photographs. I'd categorize the insects I'm interested in, then do a bit of research, either at the library or the internet.
good luck
Early evening when it starts to cool off .
It depends there are insects that show themselves on warm moments others that come to light in cold places. You got to search first the habits of the insect and the best places to spot them. Good luck!
I assume you are talking about insect in general. Anytime in daylight will do. Just go outdoor and look for them. In the bush, flowering plants, tree trunks, grasses, walls, etc., they're all there. In the evening, beetles can be found on flowering plants, eating the leaves away. If you want to capture them on video, be sure not to disturb them or else they will fly away. Entomologists will equip themselves with clear plastic bags and small brushes, clear plastic petri dish with cover, to capture them and mount them before photographing. That way, you can have better photos of the insect.
