Stawberry Hanging Plants?

Question:Does anyone know how to pinch the runner on the strawberry hanging basket to plant them in the ground?

Answers:
The runners or daughters will shoot off from the main plant. The shoot should have a small sprout along it's length that resembles a node and has a couple of very small leaves forming. When the shoot is about 4 or 5 inches long, cut the shoot about 2 inches back from the sprout with the small leaves. This is the part that is planted in the soil. Water it and treat it like any other small seedling or sprout and it should continue to grow.
