To all the darling plumbers out there!I have a megaflow.?

Question:connected to a Valiant boiler. Is there a water timer one can buy so it does not constantly boil? If yes, would you kindly let me know if Honeywell does such a programmer. thanx

Answers:
Any single channel timer/programmer will control the hot water timing, Honeywell/ACL/ Danfoss etc. all make them, you may have to fit a motorised zone valve to the HW circuit, depends how it has been plumbed/wired/controlled originally. However if it is boiling as you say, you may just need to turn down the thermostat on the boiler or cylinder to reduce the water temperature.

just need to turn down the thermostat on the boiler to reduce the water temperature.
im surprised the high limit stat has tripped its possible the sparky has bypassed the stat and the high limit stat , but first check the stat and turn it down , it should also have a motorised valve fitted via the cylinder stat .
