How do kill maggets that are under your carpet? And keep them gone?

Question:they are under my carpet in my dinning room. they are behind where my garbage can was. I have never had to deal with anything like this before, hopefully you can give me some advice. my manager is not going to do aything to help, please help!

Answers:
I would think without a food source they would die. I doubt they are eating your carpet, but irregardless any pesticide should do the trick. Try the stuff in a can the is used to kill wasps and other flying insects. Should work rather quickly.

Most likely fly maggots, if they survive they will fly around and annoy you but soon be gone. So just keep it cleaner there.
