Inside bug repellent?
Question:are there any bug repellent that i can use inside the house... i leave my window open but lots of bugs come in
i'd get a cover but my cat would break it

Citronella candles work good inside, I use them in my camper to keep the bugs outside. Put one by your window. You can use avon skin so soft repellent inside, it doesn't smell as bad as some of the others.

yes a citranella buckett....but put it outside the window, not inside the house...may cause a fire...but yes citranella is great....i went camping and had the bucket candle citranella, and there was so many mosquitos that it put out the buckett.but we never got bite...but maybe a couple of time
The problem with any candle and a cat is the cat may knock over the candle and strt a fire. Beyond that the citronillsa is probably toxic to kitty if she tastes it.
There are a number of natural and harmless to pets bug sprays and repellents at pet stores, garden stores (even tho they are for indoors) hardware, and even at some dollar stores. You could consider a window screen with a thicker mesh like hardware cloth over it or spraying the screen with either cats off or bitter apple or a red pepper and water solution to discourage kitty unless you want the cat going in and out via the window. If you leave the window open unscreened you are going to get some bugs pretty much no matter what you use.
