What do I add to the water in a musical water globe to prevent mold in the water?????

Question:

Answers:
A small amount of water-bed conditioner,it will also keep air bubbles from forming.

a small amount of chlorine bleach
Try using distilled water with some added chlorine. Bleach will also work but will discolour anything inside the globe. Basically you have to keep all impurities out of the water and minimise the air bubble.
Chlorine, like the one they add to swimming pool water. The concentration should be at 1.0-2.0 parts per million of available chlorine.
I haven't tried it personally, but surely if you dissolved a little salt in the water it would be like a saline solution...I've never seen mouldy saline - but I may be mistaken...
Also, isn't salt also a preserver...
Mineral oil dont use water. I did for many years collect them the limited edition ones and paid 75 dollars for one of noah's arc and 3 yrs later the water turned brown (used actual water in the globe! Not attractive. I dont collect anymore because it got kinda out of control.
