What is the best way to store my childs keepsakes?
Question:I need to know the best way to pack away some books and mementos that my child has. I was just going to put the items in a storage container. Does anyone have any better ideas or suggestions?

If they are paper products, make SURE you use acid-free containers...they prevent the paper from going brittle, etc...you can find them at hobby stores, (I think!) or of course, online..just look under paper preservation or something like that..I have an extensive autograph collection that's over 50 years old and store all my autographs in scrapbooks with pockets that are acid-free, which the autographed cards fit into very nicely..whatever they cost, and I don't believe these items are very expensive, it's sure worth it!! and make sure they are kept away from direct light, and high humidity...
I would also suggest storage containers. Be sure you get the ones that can stack on top of one another. I have also stored a lot of my kids things inside an old toy box. The lid closes, it seals and I can keep everything in one spot.
