Question:Yankee Candles
Answers:
microwave
heat it until the was is melted and pour it out. then wash it
put the container in the freezer, it will shrink the wax tap it on the counter upside down on a towel, the wax should pop out.
Put them in hot water and wait for the wax to melt and wipe them clean
I use a fork to break off big pieces of wax.be careful not to scratch the glass though.then wash it out thoroughly
Use Partylite candles!! They burn completely down so you dont have any wax to clean!! If you do not then the best bet is the freezer.
gently, melt them in the microwave.
Pour out the wax, then when the glass is still hot, carefully wipe it with a paper towel.
That will get rid of the remaining wax.
Do not burn yourself!
Soak them in VERY hot water in your sink. The leftover wax will lift right out. :)
I agree with the others; you should warm the glass enough to soften the wax to where it's pliable enough to remove. This is what I do when I want to reuse the glass or recycle it.
Be careful if you use the microwave. The bottoms sometimes have a small piece of metal that holds the wick. I just sit them in a pan of very hot water, then use something to get the biggest part of the wax out. Then use paper towel to wipe out the remaining wax. The old candle jars are great to store stuff in. You can also get the spray paint that is frost... it is easy to use (be sure to use in ventilated area) and makes the jars look great!
