While cutting my lawnmower will run fine for 5 seconds then sputter for a minute then just keep on going?
Question:ANy idea why this is? The blade and spark plug were replaced last night..it doesn't even stop when it sputters its like a person skipping a heart beat

I have a couple of suggestions...
Replace the air filter and do an oil change. Both will not cost more then a few $ and can be done in 10 minutes.
Also, check that there isn't something in the fuel tank blocking the intake line...a stone or dirt or something that may not be allowing the fuel to flow properly.
Something is amiss with your carburetor. Try spraying some carburetor cleaner down the carburetor throat. Make sure the air filter is clean. Play with the idle adjustments. If those fail, you may have a gasket leak.
