I have alot of herbs, what can I do with them?
Question:My garden is overrun with Parsely, Sage, Lemon Balm, and Basil. Other than making pesto or drying the herbs what are some other fun ideas to use them up?
Answers:
Wreaths. They hang in the kitchen, and you just snip what you need, or just smell great! They sell well at farmer's markets and flea markets.
Maybe you could try to sell them fresh or dried to a local organic food mart. You could cook with them also!
Go to: Kathy Herb Page. She gives ideas about using herbs to make recipes, flavored vinegars, herbal baths, flavored oils and so on. It sounds good. Herbs can be used to make soap too. I may try some myself. Have fun!
