How do I GET RID OF ANTS on my carpet in my apartment?
Question:I saw some ants on my carpet looking for food. How do I get rid of them completely for months?

bomb your house with the bugg foggers and make sure yo utake any animals out when you do it and put all food away. also get the ant houses with the poison inside to help kill them if they come back. complain to your landlord about the problem and keep your house clean. no crumbs!! vaccuum and sweep alot and pull out your fridge and stove and furniture to get old food from under them... good luck
cover everything and close up all food in your apartment. Buy bug bombs, set them off in each large room in your house then leave, come back after 6 hours or so and air out your apartemtn.. Wait, "apartment". call your landlord and cuss him out, how dare he rent you and ant infested domicile!!

ants usually appear beause the already smell food, be sure to take out trash often, wipe countertops down with hot water and soap, mop up any spills, basically keep a very clean house!
Follow their path and it will lead you to their point of entry - pour some Ajax/Comet into the hole and they will not be back. If it is along your baseboard pour a thin line of it along that wall also. It has worked for me in the past and it does not leave any stains or bad smells in your house.
