How do you get rid of racoons?
Question:The best idea i got was to shoot it! And I am about to do it and i dont want no stupid long answers... short seet and to the point.

Usually you call your local SPCA and they will come and trap them.
Home Depot or Lowe's sells a trap to catch the critter. It doesn't harm the critter at all. You can then let the critter loose in the woods or call the local animal shelter and they will get the critter out of the trap at least they do so where I live. I had a problem with stray cats. I didn't want to harm them. I just wanted them to stay off my car and quit pissing in my grandsons sand box. I purchased one and quess what happened? I started trapping possums. Each time I'd call the animal shelter and they would pick up my trap and return it to me after they let the possum loose somewhere.
Get a Have-a-heart trap and deliver them elsewhere.
my town has a contract with an animal control company. i just go to the police station or city hall and they will remove up to two animals and release them back into the woods. if that doesn't work call your game warden
you cant the only way is to git a live trap and trap then and let them go elswear
