How do you get rid of flying ants?

Question:Every year we have flying red ants come for about two weeks and they fly above our house and sometimes come inside. Is there any way to get rid of them or prevent them from coming back?

I think they are termites. Take some to a garden shop and ask them to identify/suggest remedy.

there is no way to prevent insects outside but to keep them out of you home you can put powder around your windows and doors on the outside. but if they fly in not much can be done other than trying some of the insect repelent lights outside your doors and some fly traps
