Are there blue butterfly bushes?a guy sold one to me but its purple.?

Question:

Answers:
Very few plants in the garden are an actual true blue. Even bluebonnets aren't truly blue. Its a difficult color to achieve. The Nanho Blue Butterfly bush (Buddleia davidii nanhoensis) has violet-blue flowers but that's about as close as you're going to get with a butterfly bush.

If you're looking for true blue, try this: Pansy - Delta True Blue
(Viola x wittrockiana). Depending on where you live, this is a cool weather flower but looks absolutely beautiful against light green foliage.

when blue is used for color in plant's and bushes it is called blue, but there are no blue's. many times if the light is right, you can see a hint of blue . if you see petunia's that are red, white and blue for the 4th of july or memorial day,the blue is purple.
