The only way to actually determine this is to conduct what is called a heat load. It depends on the temp. outside and the amount of humidity in the room, how many windows, if the windows face east/west or north/south, and how much heat you want to remove, ie the temp you want. That A/C is just under a 1/2 ton unit so on a 85 deg. day cooling the room to 75 deg. will take appx. 3 hours.
Figuare on a 2-3* degree drop per hour of continuous operation, which allows for additional heat infiltration to be factored in. Its not just dropping the rooms temperature, but that additional heat continues to infiltrate, and also has to be removed.
