What is the proper way to dispose of all types of kitchen knives?
Question:I've got kitchen knives that are about five years old because I'm afraid I'll dispose of them improperly. Thanks for your help!

I would give them to a second hand shop(salvation army?). Then someone else can use them and you don't have to worry about disposing them properly. Alot of charities have pick-up services so it's a good way of getting rid of stuff that you don't want but is too good to throw out. I have never had a knife wear out, it may just need to be sharpened. I'm sure someone else can us them! Hope this helps.
I have Henckel knives that are over 20 years old and guaranteed for life, so I can't really imagine how a knife would need to be thrown away.
I would tape them all together in heavy bubble wrap and put in the trash or dumpster.
knives dont get old, they just need to be sharpened
