I want the Barn swallows go away.?

Question:Does anyone know how to keep the Barn Swallows away.
They keep trying to build a nest in my apartment balcony and when I go out to relax these little bird keep diving down on me.
I wish there was a way to keep these little pest away.

The only real way to keep them is away is to remove the places where they stay... (nice ryhime eh) as you see them taking up a nest, go and (somehow) disable the area so they cannot nest there. Slowly, you will eliminate their good areas to nest, and they will go elsewhere.
