Can anyone help identify a tan spider with black stripes found in texas?

Question:I have seen these spiders everywhere lately, and I don't know what kind they are! I live around Austin, TX. These spiders are light tan, can get to about 2 inches long, have 2 narrow black stripes running down their backs, and can swim. I have seen more of them close to lakes, but they are also in other places. I don't think that they are poisonous because I have had at least four climb up my legs and haven't gotten bit once.

Answers:
I believe this is the alamospitz spider
quite famous--i heard it once got 8 gold medals at the arachnid olympics in swimming events.
They are wickedly good luck--if you see one--squish it--and make a wish--its bound to come true--just be sure not to squish it if its swimming-or you'll get a wet foot
