Bee removal?
Question:does anyone know a cheap price to get bee removal.could you give me the name.
Answers:
Hi Angelica,
I'm a beekeeper, and I get asked this question all the time.
1) First, you must determine what kind of bees you have. If they are honeybees - then chances are very good you can get them removed for FREE by your local beekeepers association. If you can't find them online or in the phonebook, call the fire dept (first choice) or the police (2nd choice) and ask them for the names of local beekeepers who do this. Many Fire Departments keep a list of local beekeepers so they can refer them to folks in your situation. It's that time of year...(when bees begin to swarm)
2) If they are wasps or bumble bees, then you'll need to call an exterminator. Prices vary, so you should shop around online or in your local phonebook.
Tacit Rainbow's suggestion (below) will work, however, keep in mind that if they ARE honeybees - you won't want to destroy them - it's much better to let a beekeeper come and collect them and incorporate them into a bee apiary, where they can be protected (they will most likely die from mites in the wild). And, his suggestion sounds great, but, do you have a beesuit to wear while you're sucking up bees with a wet vac? Most folks don't. Without that, you're vulnerable to lots and lots of stings.
Good luck!
PS - if you live in any of the drier southern states of the USA, be sure you don't go near the hive if they are honeybees - they could possibly be killer bees - and they get excited at the slightest noise. They also look just like regular honey bees.
I'm sorry I don't know but you should probably go to a garden website or something, they might have something.
call your local honey farm and see if they will do it to improve their hive.

jus pull that sucka out wit tweezers
Are you looking to get a hive relocated or are you looking to kill it? If you are looking to have it relocated some local honey producers will come and do it for no charge. If you want to kill the hive you can get spray at the store to take care of it.
call your local city hall. Some towns will send someone out from the city to have them removed. It might save you alot of money. Plus if there is honey, often times, they will knock of a little on the price if you let them have the honey.
All you need is a wet vac, you-know, a shop vacum, it comes with an out(air out) and an In (air in), get necessary hoses, about 5 feet on each end. Set up air out to cross line of flight of bees into hive., set up line in to suck said bees into shop vac. Put a little bug killer into line in side, get extension cord, and some braces to hold lines in correct position. Turn on shop vac, run for one hour. Then let it rest, 20 mins or so, turn back on for one hour. A day of this, gets most of them, get the rest later. Say, the next day. Eventually you'll get most of the hive. Sometimes the queen will take a powder when her clan all disappears.
