Advice on roses?

Question:I heave several Van Meuwen rose plants (mini roses), what is the best way for best results, also what do I do for them over Winter? What is the general way to treat roses after the Summer?

Thanks

Answers:
After flowering in autumn, prune out any twiggy bits, cut the rest 50% and sink the pot into the ground to protcct the roots from drought and frost. when buds appear in spring, prune again another 50% but when you cut make sure it's just above a bud that's faceing away from the centre.

Feed them regularly. I use tomato rite. Prune them back big style before the winter and then just leave them.
