I know that water makes metal rust, but how sensible is it to use a water fan in a metal building?

Question:I know that water makes metal rust, but there are some manufacturers of metal buildings that warrantee all their buildings against rusting.

Also, think of the rain that is constantly falling on the outside of the building. The one I will buy has a heavy industrial coating on the inside surface and the outside surfaces.

Does anyone have any experience using evaporative cooling in a metal building?

Answers:
Is the building going to be closed up or opened to air flow.
If the building will be allowed to breath and you arent storing stuff that will be damaged by the slightly elevated moisture levels, go for it. Metal buildings nowdays are using precoated metals that hold up well in elevated moisture.
Few handle complete submergence very well though.

Doesn't that sound like a good idea if you live in an area of low humidity. Breaking down water into oxygen and hydrogen doesn't make a good replacement for regular atmosphere though.
