Is he messing with me?

Question:A few nights ago, I popped some corn, and left a little of it on a kitchen counter. The next day, I noticed several kernels on the bathroom floor. I asked my husband if he was eating popcorn in the bathroom. He said no.

My conclusion was that maybe we have a mouse, who took some in there. I have never seen any mouse droppings anywhere, or anything. No evidence of mice, except popcorn in the bathroom. I bought some mouse poison when we went into town that day.

Later noticed that the kernels are all gone. Husband claims to know nothing about this. I didn't pick them up.

What do you think is going on?

Answers:
it may not be a mouse ..just your husband being a bit of a rat

Sounds like hubby is snacking on the popcorn in the bathroom to me!!!

He (your husband) is messing with you. Not likely a mouse because he wouldn't take the kernels into the bathroom and leave them in plain site to eat later. He would take them to a hidden place for storage.
Perhaps you have a rat in the kitchen...?

Seriously, I think that hubby is messing with you (though maybe having mice is better than a hubby that eats in the bathroom.!)
maybe they dropped off your clothes or his? i always leave cinema covered in the bloody stuff!!!
You said you "have never seen any mouse droppings anywhere, or anything". If you haven't seen, heard the movement of or seen the droppings of any mice, then evidence suggests your husband may be lying. However, use the poison you bought, just in case.
