Best bait for mouse traps?

Question:Please help, Im having a problem with mice, no food scraps laying around, tidy house, but mice are driving me mad!
What can I put on the traps to entice em.

Answers:
Use peanut butter...if the mouse is fast enough it can grab other stuff lightly or fast and get away...but the sticky peanut butter makes them paw at it al lick it off...pushing on the trigger...happy hunting!

Chocolate - seriously. They love it.
I heard they cannot resist chocolate. Give it a try at least.
Peanut butter
The clasic:cheese!!
peanut butter
the one and only thing to put on mouse traps is peanut butter. there is also mouse killer bars flavored like peanut butter you can buy at farm supply stores. they sell it because the farmers live in the middle of farm fields and need it bad
a bit of a mars bar or bacon rind - the chewy consistency makes them latch on for it a bit longer & pow! got em!!
Bacon rind. They will have to pull hard to release it and therefore set off the trap.
glue traps work the best.....put a little chocolate on it...you have to check up on the traps every once in a while or the mice can end up chewing their own legs off
I have found that they love peanut butter, and they can't snatch it, they have to lick , this gives trap more time to catch them, UGH! but it works, they also like bacon, we use these at work and have had success. Good Luck!
I have always used peanut butter , but those litttle fkrs will eat just about anything .
Peanut butter is the best...but those mice are smart little things. I've had them to munch all the peanut butter off without popping the trap. Put a LOT of PB on the metal part of trap, (where the cheese is suppose to be)...the deeper you put it on there, the longer they'll linger in it...and accidently get caught. BE CAREFUL! ..LOAD ALL PB FIRST then set trap...if humans touch those traps, they snap! I hid mine amongst my can goods..stacked cans 2 and 3 high all around the trap...mouse would be careful eating but if he bumped can around him can fell and sprung trap. Those glue traps work good along the walls where they tend to "run around" the house...BUT they only work with the "babies"..and you can hear them crying..just remember ...they'll get bigger if you dont get 'em! Good luck!
I sprinkle flour on the trap. Works every time, and any mess can be swept up easily. Bacon, cheese and peanut butter are all greasy. Mice can't carry off the bait, either, have to sit there to get it. Works for me.
I like to use peanut butter also I bend the traps trigger so it just barely holds then set the trap down very carefully, happy hunting
peanut butter
Peanut butter. They just can't get enough of it.
