What's better: An acre of land and a small master bedroom, or a small bit of land and very big master bed?

I'd say the first one..an acre of land & a small master bedroom. A big master bedroom is nice but you only spend a third of your life in bed. Maybe you could add on in the future.
depends on how well the bed is used i would take both want to join me
I have the big on small, I'd prefer it the other way around; they say the grass is greener on the other side, but the water bill is also higher.

An acre is a lot of mowing and weed-eating.
On the other hand land is a good investment.
Try helping a friend take care of their large yard for a short while and see how you like it. This nis a personal preference issue but make sure you are ready for the commitment that the larger yard will require.
An acre of land would be much better. Unless you plan to spend most of your time in bed. You could always add on to your house. When it comes down to it, land is much more valuable.
