There's a fly in my living room.?
Question:I've been on a couple of weeks vacation and want to spend time to straighten out my things. I open the back door from the kitchen to the outside and there's one single fly came into my kitchen to the living room. I don't want to sprey the insecticise, but have tried everything including using an electric bug killer, which look like a big hand fan with electricity but could catch this fly. It has been in my living room for a couple of days already.
There's no food here, very dry place, no wet watery part anywhere. Why won't it go any where else. It always come rest on my shirt while I'm sitting watch TV. I couldn't catch it with anything. What should I do?

LOL get a flyswatter or something to wack it with. Otherwise dont worry, it'll die in like, a day or so.
keep a towel with u and whack him ...
he won't be hanging around for much longer, if it's got nothing to munch on...

Other than trying to catch the fly with your bare hands which is tricky. You might want into getting some bug tape, I can't think of what they call it at the moment. It is basically a strip that you hang from usually the ceiling but you can but it anywhere. It has a sticky substance on it and flys are usually attracted to it. Just remember that even if you can't see any food or water around doesn't mean the fly can't. Since you said your place was very dry you also could try putting a bowl of water out. If the fly is thirsty enough it will do most likely go to the water. Good luck with your fly problem!
it wil die in a day or so as there's no food..so dont worry too much abt it..
