Why are the tips of some of my chili leaves turning white and dying?

Question:I have several chili plants outside, and some of the leaves are turning white and the end and curling up.
Other leaves seem to be loosing their green colour and dropping off from the main plant stem. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this?

Answers:
could be the soil, because there are alkaline and acidic soil types. one type of plant will grow and the other wont.

i would just dig them up and use somethink like vermiculite to correct the PH balance.

your not feeding them enough ... if they don't have fruit on ... feed them with a high nitrogen feed ... if they do have fruit on ... feed them with a tomato fertiliser
