Anyone else had problems with Zenith Windows salesmen?
Question:I made the mistake of allowing one to come and give us a quote, as they assured us that the quote would be good for two years (we were not ready to have anything done yet). The chap spent nearly 4 hours trying to sign us up on the night. What a waste of an evening (his and ours).

Best to never let them get started. A windows salesman couldn't get anywhere with me, so then he was sneaky and tried to talk my husband into it behind my back. I finally said that the only way I was going to let them put new windows in my house is if they did it all for free. That finally shut them up. I've found that it works wonders to put a "no solicitors" sign on our front door, also.
Any window company salesman is a problem , they are hard sales trained and the strategy is : if they do not get you to buy straight away they will spend that much time brainwashing you that at the end you will sign that contract just to get rid of them. I usually do not even open the door never mind let them in .
Simple : if you even need double glazed windows , it s better go direct , at the end of the day if you use salesmen there is his commission sitting in the price of the windows!
Yikes! Report them to the Better Business Bureau. We once let the Omaha Beef company people into the house and they did the same thing. The salespeople are trained to keep you occupied for 4 hours until they wear you down. We finally had to kick the woman out.
Of course you will NEVER buy from that company now! A reputable company will tell you what you need to know and go. Usually they'll take measurements and call you back in a day or two with an estimate.
