Crazy question about Dragon Flies?

Question:I have heard that you can buy dragon fly eggs. The reason why is they are natural predators of pest insects (mosquitos, flies, etc). Is it true that you can purchase them? Where can you get them?

Answers:
I may be mistaken but I think dragon flies start their lives in water. You can buy live Ladybugs, which when released, will eat aphids, but I can't find anything on buying dragonfly eggs.

I have never heard of this. I always have plenty of them and have never even thought that I may need to purchase the larvae. Maybe you could provide a water source for them, they do like water. Remember that if you use bad language, they will come and stitch up your mouth!
