Have you seen that the wild blackberries are great this year in mid state N.Y?
Question:I'm going to go picking in about a half hour.

A few years ago I noticed wild blackberry canes creeping into my yard (around my compost heep) from the bush behind us. Now they are a thick growth around half of that area.
This is fine by me. Although with three grandsons there is never enough left over to make jam.
And yes, they seem to be a bumper crop here as well in southern Ontario.
There not doing so good here in MI.
I have definitly noticed that,i love blackberries.Pick some for me my friend.
There awesome in Connecticut too! Patiently watching and hoping to get them before the birds:)
