Cockroaches ugh?

Question:What is the best, safest & cheapest way to get rid of cockroaches?

We are living in a motel and we are hopefully going to be moving soon but don't really want to take any of the roaches with us.

Not sure if there is a difference between the roaches in different states but I live in Utah.

Answers:
I use a product called COMBAT it works very well in rental houses i clean for a person. You can get it in a tube that looks like a fat syringe and put it along baseboards in drawers etc It is the color of cardboard. I believe it has boric acid in it and the roaches love the taste of it. It works pretty fast just be sure to use enough of it and put it every where you can think of. In the past i used a product called BENGAL I'm sure it s toxic though but it worked instantly after spraying it.

keep cotton balls in your ears when you sleep.

The best way to get rid of them is not to have them to begin with. If your stuff is in boxes you may want to shake it out - outside before putting it in your new abode.
only way to get rid of them is freeze them out once you have the problem and they can come from anyplace grocery stores laudrymats, anyplace that you are.
Have you said something to the motel manager. They need to be responsible. Or maybe you can go to Lowes somewhere like that and get your own bug killer for roaches. Really a professional needs to get rid of the roaches if they are real bad. I have cleaned for over 20 years and roaches are hard to get rid of.
I grew up with roaches in the Philippines. I now live in the US. Years ago, we spent the night at the Economy Inn in Albuquerque and found thousands of roaches (not kidding) in our room. So we left at midnight and never got our money back.

Anyway, to answer your question, get rid of all the brown boxes where roach eggs are embedded. Also, run the faucets that you seldom use. Roaches can easily crawl up into your home if there's no water in the drain. Did you know that roaches live in the palm trees? Good Luck!
