Lane Cedar Chest - How Old?

Question:My grandfather passed away and left an old Lane Cedar Hope Chest with lock to me. The style # is NC 2877, serial # is 252190 and I'm trying to find out how old it is! Possible worth would be a bonus, but not looking to sell. Please help!

We have an old chest that we furnished info about and even sent them a picture. They determined that it was made in the late 1930's.
