Is Scottish Power ripping us off?
Question:They capped prices until April 2007 and now they are hiking up the energy cost by a massive 70%.
Is that legal! It shouldn't be.

I don't know what your public service comission is called in Scottland but you can bet they approved it. You need to address your complaints to them. The utility's will charge whatever they can get away with.

I hope not I'm with them. Energy is supposedly coming down. If they are putting yours up then go to switch.com and change suppliers. They will do it as long as they can get away with it I don't think there is any law against it. I am going to check with other suppliers and check mine good luck
