How to preserve a dead (dieing) bonsai tree for house decoration?

Question:This is a 30 yr. old juniper tree that still has uniform color but won't last much longer. Is there a spray to preserve it?

Answers:
Is this a juniper that was kept inside? That's the reason that most bonsai die.they are outdoor trees. You may want to save its life instead. If so, plant it outside in the ground, preferrably a flower bed which already has some good soil, and MAYBE it will revive. It requires a cold winter so it can go dormant. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to preserve it otherwise, except keep the trunk and use artificial foliage. You're welcome to get more info on the Bonsai Care page of my website:
