Where can i buy a plunger (simple and cheap!)?
Question:I can't believe that major supermakets and street shops don't have something so essential as a plunger, to unblock a toilet.

I got mine from a pound shop!
It is great - I use them to unblock the toilet as well - it is a new toilet and has only a narrow outlet and the smallest piece of cotton wool or even a cotton bud has been known to block it up!
It is a cheap and cheerful plunger that does the job!
And you can try filling the pan with hot water and washing up liquid and bleach - that sometimes does the trick - but resort to the good old plunger if all else fails!

Any departments store should have one such as Target. I would get the type that has the flap on the edge in that they seal better.

whenever we have blocked toilets we just fill a large bucket with hot water and pour it straight down the toilet.. the pressure should clear it... you can only do this if there's not too much water in the pan tho obviously!

Yes the stores you have been told are all good, but you can make your own by tying old cloths to a stick this would get you out of trouble for now.
