How to get rid of common house cetipedes?
Question:My room is in the basement on our house and I find common house cetipedes in my room. I told my parents that we should call an exterminator but they asked if they had bitten me or even came near me and I said no so they won't call one. What is a cheap and easy way to get rid of them? They are so creepy. Are the harmful and if they bite what will happen? Why do like my room?

Centipedes eat other bugs, so unless you're really overrun with them, I'd just leave 'em alone.
I do know they bite...and will leave red marks on you. about being harmful im unsure. i would be doing some research, or call an exterminator yourself and ask.
