I agree with the last answer, wait till its dry otherwise you will be sealing the damp in. After a couple of nice hot sunny days is the time, or am I only dreaming. Get a good preserver, one that doesn't stain your clothes. Come on sun, we like you really.
Definitely not. It needs to be dry. Also, you need a dry spell after you have treated it (a few days) in order for it to dry completely.
Just think about it for a minute would you paint or seal any thing when damp.would you ware clothes when they are damp.
