We've got MICE!?

Question:These little boogers are ruthless.

We've tried all different kinds of traps, and three different poisons. WHAT DO I DO??? They are ruining my life! lol

They have burrowed in my sofa, stolen countless ammounts of my childrens clothes to make their 'nests' and eaten GOD KNOWS how much food!

Please help!!!

a friend of mine gave me the fool proof method to catch mice..
I live beside some fields and get a lot of mice around september..I tried my friends method and it works every time

1; buy brand new good quality mousetraps ( the spring loaded ones)
2: place them on the floor of your kitchen or away from where your kids play
3: use peanut butter to bait the traps.. mice go crazy for the stuff and if you push it down hard into the bit that holds the bait, they will have to lick it off and they always set the trap off..it works every time...I found crunchy peanut butter works best, and you should re bait the traps every day or two
4: anywhere you have food, put it into tupperware or something to stop them eating through the packaging

keep re setting the traps again and again, and when you notice that the mice you catch are getting smaller, then you know you are catching the babies, and you will be on the home stretch..

hope it works as well for you as it does for me

oh, yeah, never use poisons, mice eat the poison , and go back to the nests where they die.. then they start to rot and decompose, and you will have to tear the house apart to find them..they will stink up the place, and you will be infested with flies instead of mice

It's time to call in a professional exterminator!
Get a cat.
When my hubby and I bought our very old home, I had no idea that we had mice because I never saw one or it's left overs. Anyhow, I found a stray and adopted it and it caught 4 mice in two days and it continued to catch mice until there were none. I'm serious, this amazing cat completely cleaned our house of mice.
We've had good luck with a cat - the house we used to live in was an old farm house and it came with a complete compliment of mice. We adopted a cat and he cleaned the place out within a couple weeks. We gave him a treat when he left the mouse - uneaten - on the kitchen floor and made sure that he was well fed enough that he didn't want to eat them in the first place. He thought that they were great toys and toward the end of the invasion would put them in the bathtub so he could play (those got scooped up and taken a couple blocks away to a wooded area to be released). Otherwise, DeCon and the old fashioned snap traps set with peanut butter usually work. Just be careful with either if you have a dog.
put a nice beautiful peice of cheese out .
then clobber them w/a big bat and stomp the s h * t
outta them
There are several things you need to do.
1.) Find out where they're getting in, and close it off, IMMEDIATELY; mice can get through extremely small holes; seal any cracks in the foundation larger than a 1/4 inch, close off gaps under doors and utility pipes.
2.) Call in a professional ASAP. These mice can be a danger to your kids and your family, as they can sometimes carry diseases
The best way to get rid of mice is Dr. Pepper. I know it sounds strange, but it works. Get an old pie tin or one of those use and throw away aluminum ones and put about an inch of Dr. Pepper in it and leave it where the mice run. Since mice cannot "burp" or "----", their insides will turn in on themselves and they will die after drinking this sweet liquid. Then you just scoop them up and dispose of them.
DO NOT get Decon as somebody mentioned. that stuff is so extremely poisonous we stopped selling it at my work years ago. it's just not good to have around. i don't even know why they still sell it at supermarkets.

Like suggested, get a cat. or two. some dogs, like terriers, will do the trick too. and if you aren't interested in keeping one, borrow one! your home will be yours again in a good week or two.
