Getting rid of red wasps?
Question:what is the best way to get rid of red wasps without spending a fortune on poison.

You have to spray near dusk, I,m told, thats when wasps are in there nests and can then be elimanated. Keep spraying routinely also I had a nest of over 80, took many cans of wasp spray before I got them all. Im also told they never make a nest in the same place,so once you are rid of them where they now are they go else where for their new nest.
Do you know where their hive is? If so, take a fire extinguisher and spray the hive this will temp freeze the wasps so you may move the hive far away
I found this one out by mistake. I had a wasps nest in the bushes off my balcony and one night I left a cup of sprite outside and the next day there were 3 dead wasps in the cup, victims of and apparent drowning. I actually saw one fly into the cup and end up falling into the sprite and not be able to get out. I guess the citrus and sugar smell was pretty irresistible to them.
Good question. Try and keep them from having a place to build their nests. I know that that is almost impossible. Spraying their nests before they get big will also help, you will be reducing the population and they will have less of their kind around to build more nests.
